Meet Jess, Savings

I am a Senior Customer Services Officer in our Savings department. On a daily basis I deal first hand with customer queries over email, phone and writing. Queries typically involve opening and closing of accounts, payments into customer accounts, actioning customer instructions and transactions and team management.

As a team, we prioritise delivering a great service to help maintain customer relationships. Having a such a customer centric role, I am focussed on providing a great service to ensure good customer outcomes and this is a key to the running of HTB.

I was new to the banking industry when I joined HTB in 2016, since then, working here has significantly widened my market knowledge. The bank is dedicated to providing training and development, which I have made good use of during my career, having recently completed my Certificate in Banking. This considerably helped with my understanding of the specific products and the wider industry. With this training and support I have progressed from a Customer Service Officer into a senior member of the team.

Outside of work I enjoy playing sports, travelling, spending time with family and friends and seeing more of London.
