Established property developer secures fourth loan from Hampshire Trust Bank to transform former police station in North London

Hampshire Trust Bank recently provided its fourth loan to a London-based property developer, funding the transformation of a former police station in North London into residential accommodation.

The project, which has a gross development value of £11.7m, involves converting the former police station into seven one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments and two three-bedroom and four-bedroom houses.

Hampshire Trust Bank’s Property Finance team is staffed by experts in the property sector, who take the time to visit customer sites and to understand their business.

Robert Grigg, Managing Director Property Finance at Hampshire Trust Bank, said:

We are focused on building long term business relationships with our customers. About 40% of our business is repeat business, which we believe is testament to the partnership approach we take.

“We previously funded a similar project with this developer, which involved converting a former harbour master’s house in Cornwall. It’s great to work with them again and we look forward to continuing to support them in the future.”
