“Easy to open account”

The Hampshire Trust Bank offered a choice of online or postal accounts. I will only deal with banks/building societies that offer a postal account. It was simple and quick to open an account and provide the relevant paperwork they required. Most important, their interest rate was better than other banks. I would recommend them.

“Helpful if slightly confusing”

We got there in the end. Unfortunately it took a number of phone calls and even more letters. An account was opened to be funded by a maturing bond but then closed because it was not funded quickly enough. This caused a number of letters and phone calls to be exchanged. However each time I spoke to the staff they were really helpful
