{"componentChunkName":"component---src-templates-post-index-js","path":"/blog/ashling-quinn-joins-hampshire-trust-bank-as-lending-director-for-the-midlands","result":{"pageContext":{"post":{"uri":"ashling-quinn-joins-hampshire-trust-bank-as-lending-director-for-the-midlands","id":"cG9zdDoxNzM0Nw==","postId":17347,"title":"Ashling Quinn joins Hampshire Trust Bank as Lending Director for the Midlands","content":"<p>We have appointed Ashling Quinn as Lending Director within our Development Finance team, where she will support brokers and SME developers across the Midlands.</p>\n<p>Reporting to Rob Syrett, Head of Originations, Development Finance, Quinn brings more than a decade of banking experience, including seven years specialising in development finance.</p>\n<p>Quinn joins from Paragon Development Finance, where she progressed through a series of roles spanning credit, portfolio management and relationship management, most recently serving as Senior Portfolio Manager. During that time, she worked closely with developers as projects progressed, giving her first-hand experience of the practical challenges developers face once funding is in place.</p>\n<p>The appointment follows a number of recent additions across our Development Finance team as we continue to expand our regional origination presence.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Ashling Quinn, Lending Director, said:</strong></p>\n<blockquote><p>What attracted me to HTB was the combination of experienced decision-making and a genuinely relationship-led approach to development finance.</p></blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>I&#8217;ve spent the last seven years working closely with developers and brokers, and I&#8217;ve seen first-hand how important strong relationships, consistent communication and pragmatic decision-making are as projects progress. I&#8217;m looking forward to working with the team, our broker partners and developers across the Midlands.</p></blockquote>\n<p><strong>Rob Syrett, Head of Originations, said</strong>:</p>\n<blockquote><p>Ashling brings a valuable perspective because she has spent years working alongside live development projects and understands the decisions and challenges that arise as schemes move through delivery.</p></blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>Good development finance doesn&#8217;t stop once a facility is agreed. That&#8217;s when many of the practical decisions begin, and having someone who understands that part of the development journey is hugely valuable.
