Asset Finance Blog | April 2018 – GDPR approaches

Along with the rest of Hampshire Trust Bank, the Asset Finance division is focused on ensuring we are ready for the implementation of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) next month.

Preparations are going well. We have created a short document Preparing for GDPR, which sets out what we have done to ensure we will be compliant with GDPR by the 25 May deadline, which we hope you find useful.

We believe it is important to work in partnership with our brokers, supporting them through the implementation of GDPR and beyond, providing a helping hand wherever we can.

We want to grow our Asset Finance division side by side with our brokers, continuing to develop and enhance the service we provide.

Following the launch of our web portal and app, the team has further plans in the pipeline to make us easier to do business with and to further streamline our processes and procedures, ensuring brokers have more time to spend on growing their businesses.

Asset Finance brokers help drive SME growth by providing them with access to finance that can fund their expansion. Hampshire Trust Bank is a specialist bank that values the unique relationship between brokers and SMEs and is here to support their growth aspirations wherever we can.
