Mark was appointed CEO of Hampshire Trust in January 2012 having previously been CEO of Sun Bank and Heritable Bank. He helped transform the bank from a small start up to a profitable specialist bank, leading a management buyout with the backing of Alchemy in 2014. Mark has a wealth of experience at Board level in retail and commercial banking. He represents specialist banks on the Board of trade body UK Finance, is Middle Warden of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers and is a Council member and Chair of Audit at Loughborough University. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and the RSA.

Tim has over 26 years’ experience in Financial Services. Most recently, he was IPO Director for the CYBG float following a similar role for TSB. Prior to that he undertook various roles in LBG Group Finance as Group Financial Controller and BP&A Director and as FD of Asset Finance Divisions. Prior to joining LBG, Tim spent many years in Big 4 Accountancy Firms providing transaction advisory services to a wide range of FS businesses.

Chief Operating Officer

Chris joined Hampshire Trust Bank as COO in September 2016. Prior to this he fulfilled various roles within Investec, most recently as COO of the Private Client and Corporate Lending activities. He is a graduate of the University of Cape Town and a South African Chartered Accountant, having completed his professional training with EY.

In the COO role Chris has responsibility for technology, change, human resources and the savings business.

Chief Risk Officer (Interim)

Clive joined Hampshire Trust Bank as Interim CRO in May 2017. Clive has long experience in banking having spent 36 years at RBS in a huge variety of roles. More recently he spent time at Shawbrook Bank building their Risk Management and Risk Appetite Frameworks and Aldermore Bank as Head of Enterprise Risk. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.

Asset Finance

Jon joined Hampshire Trust Bank in January 2017, prior to which he was Commercial Director at Aldermore and spent 10 years with GE Capital. He is a graduate in Economics from Exeter University. At Hampshire Trust Bank he leads a team of Asset Finance professionals, building the bank’s proposition across the Broker and Block Discounting markets and developing new strategic opportunities.

Robert has been involved in property finance for over 20 years. He leads a team of Property Finance experts offering creative and customised financial solutions to housebuilders and residential developers across the UK. The Property Finance team typically offers loans of between £1 to £10m.

Director of Savings | Director of Marketing & Communications (Interim)

Stuart is responsible for developing the Savings division, offering consistently competitive products to individuals and businesses. Stuart has set up and run retail banking and savings divisions since 2009. He and his experienced team place a strong emphasis on the provision of superior customer service. He is also responsible for marketing and communications across the Bank, acting as the 'voice of the customer'.
